He started his career focused on the recruitment of accounting and finance professionals in Toronto and worked as a branch manager overseeing several lines of business for a large multinational staffing agency.
Always drawn to the tougher candidate markets that search professionals had always shied away from - and disenfranchised with trying to make candidates fit into a rigid job description - he pivoted his approach towards acting as a representative of the most in-demand candidates - and then as a broker between them and his clients. The shift resulted in Paul leading the country in his space.
